Homemade Organic Butter Recipe


We all know that butter is full of vitamin A, which is very important for healthy eyes, tissues, skin, teeth, and membranes. It affects our gene transcription as well. It contains medium and short fatty acids, which protect you from cancer.

For this recipe you will need:

– 2 cups heavy cream
– Sea salt (to taste)

Directions: In a food processor blend the heavy cream for approximately 10 minutes. If you want to make this step for less than 5 minutes watch the video below. The heavy cream will transform into whipped cream.

Process the cream until you get a grainy texture and divide them in buttermilk and butter. Put the butter in a colander and strain the buttermilk. Wash the butter with cold water and by using a spoon gently turn the butter until the water is clear.

Once the butter becomes clean you can squeeze a little bit more of the liquid by using a wooden spoon or paddle.
Keep the butter in a bowl or a jar and put it in the fridge. You can keep it up for a couple of months.

You can also make delicious butter that kids will love. Use softened butter.

– Snipped parsley and lemon zest
– Chopped basil, garlic, and pickled ginger
– Feta cheese and chopped olives
– Parmesan cheese and basil
– Ginger and sesame oil
– Cilantro and hot sauce
– Sea salt and black pepper
