Most of us love snacking. We are all craving a big platter of chips or other snacks that are not good for us.
That is why you have to try and munch on other healthy alternatives, such as veggies. But for complete satisfaction, you need something to dip them in and that missing thing maybe hummus.
A healthy recipe:
If you haven’t tried hummus, we promise you that you are going to be surprised by its taste. It is delicious and tasty. But if you want to bring the hummus to another level you should try and mix it with guacamole.
Each of them is perfectly delicious and the combination of these two dips is simply amazing.
These are the ingredients that you are going to need to make the delicious hummel.
- 1 cup of cooked chickpeas
- Juice from 1 lemon
- A handful of cilantro (as much as you like)
- 2 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
- ½ avocado
- Salt and pepper to taste
- If you like the heat you can add a jalapeño pepper.
There are two ways for preparing this dip.
If you prefer creamy and smooth consistency you can add the ingredients in a blender and process the ingredients for approximately one minute. The other way is to have a dip with texture. For this method, you will need only a fork. Use the fork to mash the ingredients and add the chopped cilantro.
